Convent Glen / Orléans Wood

“I was first introduced to Convent Glen & Orléans Wood in 1978, it was part of Gloucester and it bordered the Cumberland community.  One of the first things you notice in this Convent Glen is the well-planned parks and integrated pathways that people continue to use today.  The community is a mix of established and new building growth and there is a very vibrant shopping center at Convent Glen.  It is mostly known for Taffy Lane where thousands of residents drive by during Christmas time to look at the lights, there are even bus tours that go down the street.  The community association is starting to rebuild thanks to the help of Tiana d'Argent.  The community borders the Ottawa River and is fully developed as a residential community.”
